Gate Street Barn really is the perfect winter wedding venue, especially on a glorious sunny December day like last Saturday.
Claire and Colin both got ready at the new Radisson Blu Hotel in Guildford and were very careful not to catch a glimpse of each other before the main event!! The bridesmaids did a great job of looking after Claire and her very cute niece Sophie who was a flowergirl for the day. Sophie nearly stole the show, as you can see in some of our favourite photos.
Then it was off to Bramley Church for the ceremony with Claire travelling in style in a beautiful vintage Rolls Royce from Cars for all Occasions. Not only has this lovely car featured in several films, including The King’s Speech, it’s also had Colin Firth sit in it!!
Despite the warm sunshine it was cold and yet the couple were so happy to have some lovely portraits outside and maximise the beautiful setting of the barn, the frosty ground and milky winter sunshine. It really suited the gorgeous country setting so you can see what we mean about it being the ideal place for a winter wedding.
Gill Pike provided the beautiful flowers and Kalm Kitchen provided the yummy food.
You could say this was the dream team, especially as Chris from Chess Disco arrived in the evening to entertain the guests with some floor filling tunes.
All in all a fabulous day with a gorgeous couple. We hope you enjoy our favourites.
