This was our first visit to Russets Country House and we really hope to visit again – what a gem of a venue!
Tucked away in a leafy part of Surrey, the whole place makes all the guests feel totally relaxed and its wonderful gardens and views make it an ideal wedding venue. The owners Kate & Tim really have created a lovely place for a wedding and are so friendly and helpful.
Paul & Debbie had planned the perfect day with a lovely ceremony that included a poem written specially for them. Despite an earlier rain storm, by the time the reception started we had the most glorious October sunshine that made for some lovely photos of the couple and venue.
Caper & Berry provided the delicious food and Paul & Debbie had opted for bowl food instead of a sit down meal. It was a great hit with all the guests. The dessert table was spectacular with puddings of pistachio topped panacotta, banoffe pie, chocolate mousse and a new take on a jelly trifle.
The band for the evening entertainment were a real treat adding a touch of nostalgia for all those 80’s hits. They are called the Wild Boys and they performed all the classic 80’s music with great style and enthusiasm.
We hope you enjoy some of our favourite photos from the day:
