Sarah has known Josh his whole life!! His parents are close family friends and we photographed his sister Rebekah’s wedding to Alain in 2009. So Saturday was a great day for us, with the added pressure of Sarah’s parents being guests!!
The day started at Chloe’s house and this is her amazing dress, interestingly found for her by her Dad.
We thought that Chloe’s hair looked amazing.
You could tell she was pleased with the final result!
As were her friends who were all waiting downstairs.
Chloe’s shoes were really stunning and from a company we’d not heard of before: Irregular Choice. They have some really fun and different stuff on their website.
Is Chloe’s Dad Paul contemplating the big day for his daughter or thinking ‘I shouldn’t have eaten all that toast’?
Meanwhile Richard was with Josh as the guys got ready.
Keeping with the funky theme of the wedding, the guys all had very colourful socks.
Chloe’s uncle conducted the wedding ceremony
With a few personal stories and laughs thrown in!
Then it was off to Southfleet Village Hall for the reception.
The couple had arranged for lots of fun games and activities for the guests.
A bouncy castle for the little kids.
And the big kids.
And a game of Tug of War. Here’s the winning team.
We love this fun picture of Chloe’s family. Who do you think ‘owns the photo’?
Then later in the evening we had the speeches which included a brilliant slideshow montage from the best man.
We couldn’t resist a few photos in the evening light.
This is only the second time we’ve seen a couple have their first dance outside but both times it has worked so well.
The rest of the photographs will be ready shortly in our recent weddings section; contact Josh and Chloe for the password.
