Andres and Rebecca got married on a beautiful sunny Monday at the fabulous Gate Street Barn.
It wasn’t a bank holiday Monday just an ordinary start to the working week. However, there was nothing ordinary about this wedding, it was one of the very best weddings we’ve ever had the pleasure of photographing. The whole day was great fun, really relaxed and we got to work with some of our most favourite wedding suppliers. You could say this was the A Team of weddings in action!!
The couple both got ready at the Manor House in Godalming and kept a good distance apart so as not to see each other before the ceremony. Gill Pike created the gorgeous flower arrangements and Sophia Wyatt did Rebecca’s lovely hair and make up. Then we travelled to Gate Street in Miss Polly a 1925 Rolls-Royce Landaulette expertly driven by Nick from Cars for all Occasions.
The venue looked gorgeous in the sunshine and the whole day we were reminding ourselves what a privilege it is to be recommended photographers at Gate Street Barn.
After the ceremony the guests were treated to some delicious canapés, imaginatively presented by the outstanding Kalm Kitchen. We know we’ve raved about them before but James, Jen and the team really are the very best – stay tuned to the blog for a feature on them coming soon!
Special mention also has to go to our very favourite videographers Andy and Stefan Louca of Zeus Films. We got to see a little bit of footage from Andres and Rebecca’s wedding on the day and it was breathtaking. They filmed a wonderful sequence of the confetti throwing in slow motion and it gave us goosebumps it was so good!
The whole day was brilliantly planned by Rebecca’s mum who worked tirelessly beforehand to make sure everything went well, then on the day itself she was able to just enjoy the day and get in some serious dancing later in the evening!! Music expertly provided by Chris from Chess Disco.
We hope you enjoy some of our favourite images from this lovely wedding day.
