Tom & Henrietta’s Wedding in Barnes, London

We often talk about the weather on this blog but Saturday’s wedding really did have extremes. It was either pouring down with rain or brilliantly sunny within the space of 5 minutes or so. We thought it ironic that it was raining when the guys were in the Sun Inn on Barnes Green! It was…

Donna Rexstrew - Hi Richard & Sarah

Love the pictures and would like to take part and give you my votes –

My favourite is picture 18 – I love the emotional pictures when the subject doesn’t know they are being captured – this one is brilliant.

(For the same reason I also like pictures 3 and 13)

I’d like to vote also for number 16 – the light coming through the trees is just spectacular!

Philippa Pearne - My absolute FAVOURITES are….of course….

Sepia toned kiss at Gate Street Barn
Such a romantic moment with a gorgeous background and perfectly centered. Makes me want to cry looking at it.

Ceremony Glance
I remember thinking ‘This is it!! We’re actually doing it!!’ when I glanced over at him in this pic. It was the most exciting and emotional hour of my life and you caught it on camera beautifully.

And one unbiased vote…

First Dance embrace at Highclere Castle
So gorgeous – really captures the obvious romantic moment between them. You’re SO talented!

Lots of love P xxxx

Emma Coleman (Blink Photography) - It was so hard to pick but I finally I have! I love 3 for the huge emotional impact of this image, 7 for the beautiful composition, & 21 for it’s movement and emotion.

Emma
x

Caroline - So hard to choose with so many beautiful photos! But my vote goes for…

12. Sunset Kiss at Bury Court Barn – I love the lightling and the emotion!

Louise Burchell - Hi Richard & Sarah,
I have been looking forward to seeing this on your blog!!
I can’t choose one, there are too many fab ones, but i like number 3, as i think this captures a common bride emotion brilliantly. I like no 12 becuase the light is beautiful, i like no 17 coz it makes me what to go there and i like 18 coz it shows that men do have emotions!!
Louise xx

Roland and Maddy - Hi Richard and Sarah,
Here are the votes from the Teddington jury!

3rd place, No 13, simply because it is such a very happy and natural shot.
2nd place, No 4, because of the fantastic lighting especially in the veil.
1st place, and runaway winner for both of us, No 18. So full of emotion, and completely candid.

Roland and Maddy

P.S. ….. and of course we loved ours too!! (No. 24)

A. C. Cret - Hi. Here are my votes:
No 7 – love the lighting & the composition of this one. It seems to capture the grandeur of the setting but also the intimacy between the bride & father.
No 9 – The black & white is stunning & the moment is really well captured (it is your name after all!!). I think any couple would love to have that shot in their album.
No 13 – for the same reason as above.
No 14 – Like this for its artistic appeal. I just like the composition of it with the back drop. Very Hopper-esque.
If I had to pick 2 absolute favourites then it would be no 9 & 14 (but I still want to vote for all 4). I have a sneaky feeling I have picked 2 of Richard’s, right? Also,is it me or are there no couples in number 17? Hate to point out the obvious guys…

Dave - They are all pretty special….

The colours of 12 are amazing so excluding our own one that’s my winner.

But obviously 14 wins for me because you’re just far enough away from me so that you can’t see the terror in my eyes! (I see you photoshopped out the monster….)

Dave

Victoria Sugg - I love 3, 22 and 8
Good luck both!!!

Tom Sugg - No.18 is brilliant!

But I love no.3 – perhaps a little biased…

CaptureIt -

But obviously 14 wins for me because you’re just far enough away from me so that you can’t see the terror in my eyes! (I see you photoshopped out the monster….)

There’s so much Loch Ness monster merchandising we’re pretty sure it’s copyrighted. That’s why we had to photoshop it out. Besides which he was grinning stupidly at the camera and ruining the ambiance of the photo.

CaptureIt - These are the votes transferred from comments left on our Facebook page.

Jay Jay: 18 is the winner!
Andy: 18 is my choice too.
Lindsay: 18 is brilliant.
Tracey: 21 gets my vote.
Angharad: 21 is my favourite too.

Billy Barrie - Hi guys I would like to say all of the pictures look truly amazing, but I have to say my favourites are 7 (love the veil trinling down the stairs and 21….lovely.

Kind regards
Billy barrie

Julia brown - Obviously for very biased reasons I love number 21 the most, magical. Thankyou guys. All of the pictures are amazing thou you really do a great job of capturing the emotion of each couples big day.

CaptureIt - From Cara:

#7 and #21

Thankyou

Mark Palmer - I think that the evening shot at Syon House (no 1) gets my vote as the exqusite azure colour of the evening sky is reflected in the pond together with the pinks from the Great Conservatory to form such a fantastic canvas from which, with the clever use of perspective and light, the bride and groom stand clearly and crisply to draw their first kiss as husband and wife.

But then again it is my sister and brother-in-law so I might be a tad biased?!

CaptureIt - From Matthew Forrest

Anthony - Hey,

Gemma Toon - Dear Richard and Sarah,

Well done on a lovely collection of photos. Have to say that one stands out from all of the rest for us – No 22. It is the one I would like blown up on my wall and we don’t even know the couple! Wonderful symmetry.
Have to say very proud to see our wee girls as a favourite – No 8. So glad to have bought the china tea set as they played happily for ages with it! Thank you for capturing a great day.
