Coming to America

Very unusual for us, but we had a bit of a holiday! We went to New York with Sarah’s family and then on to Boston by ourselves.

Here are some of our holiday snaps. This is all of us in Times Square:

Manhattan skyline:

Grand Central Station:

The Chrysler Building at night.

Then on to Boston which is an incredible mix of the old and new. This is the Old State House which is where it all started for the USA.

We also had a chance to see our other ‘family’;. These guys are René & Melissa Tirado, the best wedding photographers in Boston.

Adam & Clare

Saturday was another day with great light, although rather cold. We’ve gone a bit crazy with this blog entry with 21 photos but we just had so many favourite images we wanted to show you.

So many thanks to the couple, Clare especially, for braving the cold for the sake of our art.

This is not posed.

Why are young boys so fascinated by a flame?

We love the way you can see the lights in the interior of the church here.

Adam & Clare had got Venue Paint to add some fantastic colour to the reception room.

You can contact them here:

Adam & Clare’s first dance was another classic.

After that, the dance floor was never empty.

Gavin & Tamsin

It’s been a month since our last wedding and it was great to be with Gavin & Tamsin on Friday.

This is Tamsin.

This is a bride’s attendant wondering if it’s OK to come in yet.

Here’s Gavin waiting at the chuch. As you can see, we really had some fantastic weather for December.

By the time we got to the Audley’s Wood Hotel for the reception, the sun was low in the sky and casting some wonderful light.

Jat & Kiran

On Friday we had the great pleasure of being at the wedding of our friends Jat & Kiran.

They had a blessing and reception at the very grand Moor Park. This is the toastmaster Nick Grant waiting for the signal that the bride is approaching. Nick is easily one of the best toastmasters we’ve ever had the joy of working with.

You can get in contact with him here:

And here’s Jat, on the left, with a big smile on his face as the beautiful Kiran comes down the aisle.

The Autumn colours were incredible.

Moor Park is possibly even grander on the inside.

One of the great things about an Asian wedding is that you can always rely on the dancing being both colourful and spectacular!

Jat & Kiran, we hope you are having a wonderful honeymoon and we wish you every blessing.
