The architecture of the new grandstand at Ascot is simply amazing. There are very interesting lines and curves that make good photos in many different directions.

Oh yes, Sarah got to go in the helicopter with Louise. This was to be a surprise for the wedding guests. They knew she (the bride Louise, not Sarah) would probably arrive in style but didn’t know it was going to be as special as all this.

It was good that on this occasion the groom was allowed to watch the bride arrive.

Louise was wearing a custom designed Caroline Castigliano wedding dress.

It’s not every day that you get to have your photo taken with the Queen and Prince Philip.

The reception was at Bluebells Restaurant. The atmosphere was very relaxing and the service provided by the owner John and his team was superb.

And the speeches were hilarious – especially that of best man Chris.

To end the evening, Rob and Lou had a disco that had one of the best rigs we”ve ever seen. We have no hesitation in recommending Firebird Events.

And this is the youngest impression of John Travolta that we’ve ever seen.

So thanks Rob & Louise for one of the very, very best weddings ever. You were a joy to photograph.

Are the boys really that nervous?

The nearest bridesmaid is Fiona, Rob’s sister.

The grounds at Wasing are beautiful.

Here we managed to get a photo of the ‘Young Persons Wooden Bench Appreciation Society’.

We did get some photos of kids doing less strange things.

Don’t you just hate it when someone turns up at a wedding wearing the same outfit as you?!

So here are Brian & Fiona with their gorgeous little one Martha.

Meanwhile, the Young Persons Wooden Bench Appreciation Society turns it’s attention to narrow windows instead.

We all enjoyed going round on a little photo shoot and the poor weather broke for just a few minutes allowing us to take advantage of the sunshine.

Please observe that Rebecca’s wedding ring has beautiful diamonds in it.

This is the moment when Rebecca realised that her plain wedding band now was full of diamonds!

Adam was obviously rewarded for his wonderful surprise.

They had their reception at the Tudor Barn, Burnham.

On the other hand, the fabulous surroundings and waterfall is just the right setting for Jonathan & Claire’s wedding on Saturday.

Here is the bridesmaid Sophie with a very pensive Abi in the background.

Claire wanted butterflies as a minor theme to the wedding and we thought these candles were great.

But the cake was awesome! It was a miniature version of the top table, accurate in every detail.

And this is Abi again but not so deep in thought this time. Steve has given her the task of catching all the bubbles in the world!

Mission accomplished, Abi has time to enjoy a spin on the dance floor.

However, the day really belonged to the lovely Claire and Jonathan. The guests and family were terrific and the ushers and best men were a great help to us when it came to the group shots. Many thanks for having us at your wonderful wedding!
