We first met Matt, Lucy and her parents at the Wedding Fair Warren House hosted in February. We got on so well right from the start so it really did feel like we were meeting up with friends on Saturday.

Sarah met the girls in Streatham while Richard went on to the church to catch up with the guys.

Being right by the high street meant that some unique photo opportunities presented themselves!!

These 3 guests all gave readings during the wedding ceremony. Each had their own way of mentally preparing themsleves.

Warren House recently hosted an exhibition of Getty Images taken on film sets. This was such a romantic picture we couldn’t resist recreating it with Matt & Lucy.

The evening entertainment included a slideshow of some favourite images throughout Matt & Lucy’s life – which obviously caught the eye of the band ‘Grooving High’.

Jason is the first groom we’ve ever known to whistle while he waited for Kerry to arrive.

The church’s organ was very impressive.

Here’s Jono & the best men walking to the ceremony.

There was a fair bit of silliness but it all added up to everyone having a great time.

There was romance too.

All generations had a good time.

Although there may have been some initial confusion over whether the rose petals belonged in or out of the baskets.

We thought we might have some serious competition from this young chap until we looked closely at the way he held his camera. On the other hand, maybe he’s going for a really angled, arty shot!

Music was provided by Welsh rock group Supernova. They were truly excellent.

This was undoubtedly the best professional seminar / workshop that we’ve ever attended, including the many Richard attended in his former life as an IT manager. Huy and Linda’s images are full of impact, emotion and story. As Huy puts it, they are irresistable. It wasn’t that we learned a lot of new stuff but that we gained so much from interaction with so many creative, skilled and talented artists.

You won’t see a major change in the direction of our photography but hopefully you’ll see a few more documentary style and ‘edgy’ shots that may get across the feel of the day in addition to the beautiful images we provide.

So here we all are, Richard is front and centre and Sarah is directly behind him.

Warren House is not only a wonderful wedding venue but a first class conference centre.

Even world class professional photographers can go all stupid when they’re the other side of the camera.

Anil was probably telling Richard something very informative, important and life-changing but Richard was too busy trying to take a photo and walk backwards to pay attention. On the other hand, Anil may have just been saying “Watch out for that bench behind you.”
