What a great year of weddings we’ve enjoyed! We’ve visited some of our favourites venues and got to explore some new ones. So we thought it would be a good idea to have a review of the year with a slideshow of some of our favourite images. We chose them on the basis of how they make us feel.

One of our favourite venues is the lovely Gate Street Barn in Bramley Surrey. Located near Guildford it really is a fabulous venue in the heart of the countryside.
This Sunday, 8th January they have an Open Day and you’re all invited. This is a wonderful opportunity to see this lovely setting, enjoy some stunning scenery, meet lots of lovely wedding suppliers, including florists, caterers, make up artists and a magician. You might even get to sample some yummy food too!
The open day is from 9.30am to 4.30pm .

If you’re going to end 2011 on a high with a party and lots of friends around you then what better way to celebrate than a wedding!
Hannah and Alex did just that and threw a fantastic party and a wonderful wedding celebration. Not a small feat seeing as they had just a few months to organise it. Full marks have to go to Philippa, Hannah’s mum who worked tirelessly behind the scenes with great success.
You may recognise Hannah as just a few months earlier she was a bridesmaid for her sister Martha. It was lovely to see the family again and enjoy meeting Alex’s relatives, especially flower girl Matilda who provided us with endless photo opportunities and was a star all day.
We just want to say a big thank you to everyone for making us feel so welcome and we hope you enjoy our favourite images.

This year we and a couple of our friends went to Madeira for the first time. We can thoroughly recommend it. It is a stunningly beautiful island that has incredible views over mountains, the sea or both. It’s a landscape photographer’s paradise. Kind of like Wales without the cold.

What a fantastic start to October! The hottest October on record with glorious sunshine, blue skies and a wedding at Ham Polo Club which is one of our favourite venues. There’s always such a relaxing atmosphere and the service and food are outstanding.
The wedding day was full of emotion and love and we were so glad to be there to capture all those little moments. We also got to work with I-do Wedding films again who are excellent videographers and highly recommended.
Grant and Caroline live in Australia, in fact they actually have a house on Manly Beach, Sydney – a far cry from the leafy suburbs of Surrey. They are having another big party on their return to Australia with friends and family and we hope it goes as well as the one here. We also hope that one day we’ll get to visit them in Sydney!!
